This is a neat and clean Village occupied chiefly by farm laborers. The houses which are of one Storey, are built upon ground feued from the estate of Gilston, they are occupied by the proprietors And have small gardens attached. There is one shop in the Village, for the Sale of groceries; the nearest post Office is in Largo. The school in the adjoining village of New Gilston is for the use of the Children of Wood-Side.
