[Note] "There is a traditional account of a cave or cavern in Clatto Den which communicated with the tower of Clatto. The Seaton family possessors of this tower were noted robbers but were discovered & punished by James IV. [4th] There is now no appearance of the cave all trace of it having been obliterated by the breaking down of the banks of the Den at this place. See Leightons Hist. [History] of Fife Vol 2 pp 238.239."
