Its length is about 5 miles and in breadth from 3 to 4 miles. It is in general all throughout well cultivated, and about 350 acres under plantations. It has the village of Leslie which is a burgh of barony of which see descriptive remarks in the adjoining Sheets. This parish is in the Presbytery of Kirkcaldy and Synod of Fife, Patron the Earl of Rothes. |
