A lofty hill to the South of the Road from Auchtertool to Aberdour the base of which extends to within a Short distance of the Road and presenting a very bold and almost perpendicular ascent from the North for a considerable way up, the rest of the hill inclining to an inclined Tableland rising more gradual towards the South. The whole northern face on 36A. is shaded on Trace 9.
