The Ruins of two houses formerly a dwelling and out house, and had a farm of land attached, which has been let to the farmer of the Mains of Beath for many years past. Malcolm's Beath like all the other Beaths in the locality have been named after the owners, with the exemption of Halbeath Netherbeath Meiklebeath and Hill of Beath, therefore should be written in two words with 's Cowdenbeath, Dalbeath and Keirsbeath exerted which Common usage have changed from their original form of spelling.
