035 [Situation] A little of Fordel village. A few houses occupied by agricultural labourers, an Inn, Grocers' Shops, and a Smithy. A Coal Dyke terminates here, hence the name. It is sometimes written and pronounced College, but Mr Burns, the factor, gives Coaledge as the correct orthography.
