A pretty good farm house with offices and a farm of arable land attached the property of Major General Durham Mercer Hend [Henderson] and occupied by Francis Sharpe. This farm was formerly known by the name Dov [Dover?] and latterly the popular name is Doverh [Doverhall] but it is let under the name Crossgat [Crossgates] Farm.
