DOOCOT [Fordel] Doocot

A. Inglis, Schoolmaster		 035 [Situation] 5/8 mile SSW [South South West] of Fordel. A small dwelling house on the lands of Fordel, no authentic information could be obtained regarding the origin of the name but it appears to be the provincial term for Dove Cot or Pigeon House.
