A considerably sized [loch] lying on the boundary [of] the Parishes of Beath [and] Dunfermline. It cont [contains] Pike, Perch, Eels and is said of large muscles. [The] proprietors on every [side] of the Loch have it in con lation [contemplation] to drain it as a g [great] benefit would accrue t [to] them, first from the recl able [reclaimable] land, and second [secondly] the soil of the Loch who [which] is excellent manur [manure]. |
