In the south part of the Parish of Beath, 18 chains north of the World's end (in ruins).
A small arable eminence, on the farm of Foulford, on the summit of the eminence are two Ironstone Mines, which are working Pits at present.
N.B. I learn from Enquiry that the term "Mine" is applied when in the form of a gallery driven into the face of the Rock, and Pit to a Sunk Shaft.

A small elevation on the farm of Cowdenbeath, the surface of which is arable.
