In the Village of Carnock A very old bridge in the village of Carnock over the Burn where the Carnock & Kennet Trust crosses. On the East wall of this bridge, a little above the Crown of the Arch, are two Stones bear[in]g inscriptions, vis [namely] Mr J. Row, Patsor Anno D[omine] 1638 and the other BRVCE of Carnock in raised letters.
