A burying ground, now disused situate in Keir Brae plantation, said to be the place of interment of the last Laird of Carden. There are two flat stones still visible apparently covering graves. There is a legend that a Romish Chapel once stood near this spot but no information can be obtained respecting it, or the site of it. The Grandfather of James Lassels saw interments take place here, & he also informed his grandson of the legend respecting the Romish Chapel
