The Links Sands
(signed) J.B. Mr. Gibson, the Town Clerk writes the following.

"Kirkcaldy sands" and Linkburn Sands are spoken of in the same manner as "Pathhead
Sands" or "The Sands" or Kirkcaldy Sands, and the "Links Sands" are the common
expression". See Sheet 4.

Transcriber's notes

The signatory J.B. is probably John Bayly Captain Royal Engineers who supervised much of the survey in this area.

Linkburn Sands probably should probably read Linktown Sands.
