Methven A plain looking old building formerly used by the authorities of Linktown as a jail or lock up the upper story was the place of meeting for the Baron Bailie and other officers connected with the Burgh of Regality the upper part of the building has not been used since the year 1816 and the lock up was condemned as unfit for prisoners about the year 1822.
The upper story is now the residence of the Window of the late Baron Bailie and the Lock up is not used for any purpose the whole going to decay.
