Three round rocky pasture hills on the estate of Cleish Castle. They form a part of the Cleish Range of Hills. Some are of an opinion that the name Arose from the vegetable Onion, whilst the better informed Considers it to be of Gaelic Origin And although the three hills are named Separately on the estate map such as Mid South and North nevertheless they are very little known by these descriptions in the locality.
