014 The remains of a Roman Catholic Chapel Situated close by the Mansion house of Ormiston Hall, It is Supposed to have been as above by a former Proprietor by the name of Cockburn, And a Small piece of ground around it and now Cover'd [Covered] with wood, and used as a grave-yard, numerous human bones having been dug up out of it, the limits of its site Cannot now be pointed out. The remains of the Chapel Consists of an aisle of about 10 ft [feet] by 8 and Still retaining its roof which with the walls which Suppors it, seem to have been recently repair, in the wall within the Aisle a monument or tablet erected over the remains of A. Cockburn and his spouse
