The site of an ancient chapel which was one of those that were Subordinate to the parish church of Dunbar. This site was pointed to Captain James R. E. [Royal Engineers] when examining the plan on the ground by Mr. Rennie of Oxwell Mains An intelligent and well informed man well acquainted with the locality and long a resident of this locality.
