A Small Cave in the north bank of Woodhall Burn on the Brunt Farm It is traditionally supposed to have been occupied occasionally by "Wallace the Scottish patriot & Hero" when he and followers were in this neighbourhood during his wars with the English. The entrance to the cave is now blocked up the earth having fallen in. |
