010 A the east end of the "Garlton Hills" on the eastern extremity of the "Kae Heughs" there are the Remains of an encampment which is Said to have been a Roman Camp. on the north Side there is a perpendicular precipice, and on the South, and West Sides, there are Several Artificial Terraces and mounds of earth and Stones, enclosing a flat rocky Space of a triangular form. The entrance from the west, can easely be traced, through three mounds which extend Southward from the edge of the precipice - The eastern end has been destroyed. the rock having been quarried out from time to time.
