A cave extending about 70 yards under ground. It appears to be artificially constructed, being partly built with stone & lime, and partly cut thro'[through] a solid rock. within it are 4 or 5 small recesses or rooms. It is supposed to have been made by Smugglers to conceal their Contraband goods.
