003 [Situation] About 1/4 Mile South from Seacliff Tower
A sloping bank on the sea-coast a little north of the farm of Scoughall, through which a a road leading down to the shore passes. The tradition of the country says this object takes its name from a chapel which formerly stood in the vicinity. No vestige of this Chapel now remains.
