012 A large rock about 30 feet long and four feet wide the highest point is about ten feet from the ground; it is supposed that the rock, and the place where it stands, was once infested with Fairies, indeed there are people in the locality at the present time that are quite terrified when they pass by it, and by those kind of people it is believed even now to be a rendezvous for fairies. It is situated in the fork formed by the joining of Burn Up, and a stream that runs in Bladdering Cleugh.

012 ; 017 A small glen extending from the base of "The Steel" to Fairy Castle, in it runs a stream without name. There are a great number of small natural trees growing in it.
