022 This Hill, which everybody in the locality, except the proprietor, knows as "Barwood Hill" belongs to Barnhill Estate - Mr. Campbell's. The hill itself applies or extends to the plantains: on both sides of that sketched at the Trigl: [Trigonometrical] Pole as shewn by the yellow shade on the Exam. [Examination] Trace. "Dumbar", from the proprietor's Titles, is not known at all, the whole Hill being understood by people as Barwood Hill. Both names have been adopted on the Plans - the one "Dumbar", at the particular desire of the proprietor, & the other, "Barwood Hill", from its wide popularity which the proprietor also agrees to as a proper name from custom.
