It extends from "Craigmarloch Bridge" (Trace 1. 19A.16) to the wood enclosures east of the grounds of Nether Croy. The Forth & Clyde Canal stands at the bottom of the banks of "Craigmarloch Wood". Croy Hill and the "Wood" are the property of the Carron Co. [Company]. On the top of the bank there is a prominent whinstone rock known for miles around as the "King's Seat". |
