A small stream that takes its rise in the west side of this parish and flows in an Easterly direction and joins the Appin Burn about 1 mile South West of Appin house.
The orthography of this name is doubtful - but Marmullach would seem to be the most correct according to what I conceive to be the derivation.
Mullach - the Big Top or eminence. If so - Mormullach
