remains of a Druidical place of worsh[ip]
The track of a Circular wall about 4 feet wide is very
visible here; inside this track is a collection of stones
forming a ruinous Cairn. Doctor Simpson in his
history of Sanquhar describes
it as a "venerable relic of Druid times.'
