016 A large farm house with extensive outbuildings garden and lands attached, it is a portion of the Dumcrieff estate.
[The two upper stories of this Mansion of the 17th century are erected on the lower story or arches of a Tower of much earlier date apparently of the 14th or 15th century. In the 16th century held by a Johnstone family. The above is an extract from some old writings in possession of C Stewart Esq[Esquire] of Hillside.
