A dwelling house and garden occupied now by two laboring [labouring] Men, but is a name of long Srtanding and well known in the District where it is situated, Boartree here is no doubt intended for the Scotch for the Elder tree, and should therefore be spelt Bourtree. This word is spelt in North of England Burtree or Lightfoot.
