A large circular hill on the farm of Nether Dalveen.
So named from the sheep called Wether. Dr. [Doctor] Jamieson does not recognise Wedder - a sheep - he says the word is applicable in the Scotch to Weather. Though wedder sheep is frequently written, it can only be considered a Scotice for wether.
