The site of St Marjory's Church is situated in the churchyard, and immediately behind the present parish church of Dornock. It was used as a place of worship by Roman catholics before the Reformation, and is said (by tradition, only) to have been dedicated to St Marjory. It was used as a place of worship by the reformers after the Reformation, till 1793, in which year the present parish church was erected, and the old church taken down.
