[South West] course and changes its name at Broomhills Bridge thence to the River Annan, its name is Fishbeck Lake, When it crosses the Caledonian Railway. Some labourers &c call it Sandyholm Burn, but Uppercleugh Burn from it Source to Broomhills Bridge is the correct name. substantiated on good authority
