On the East side of BroomhillbanKs Hill or Dinwoodie (Broomhillbanks is better known in the district) are the vestiges of an old Church Yard, distinctly defined by an old earthen embankment. Dinwoodie was a Chapelry, & it is supposed a Church or place of worship, stood at or near the present site of Church Yard - the remains, however have totally disappeared & the exact Site cannot be pointed out. |
