A large pasture hill on the farm of BroomhillbanK and the property of John Rogerson. On the Summit, and on the S.W. [South West] Side are two British Forts, the one on the S.W. [South West] is very much defaced.

034 [Situation] On the SE. [South East] side of BroomhillbanK Hill.
On the East side of BroomhillbanKs Hill or Dinwoodie (Broomhillbanks is better known in the district) are the vestiges of an old Church Yard, distinctly defined by an old earthen embankment. Dinwoodie was a Chapelry, & it is supposed a Church or place of worship, stood at or near the present site of Church Yard - the remains, however have totally disappeared & the exact Site cannot be pointed out.
