042 | [Situation] 5 Chains South from Parish Church. A prominent mound on the South side of the Manse. The top of which is now [constructed] into a garden. In trenching for the purposes of the Garden, some ornamental building materials, and also some stoney foundations were found, but whether these indicated the Site of a Castellated building, or that of some previous church, cannot be ascertained.
