Saint Johns Chapel (episcapalian) is a neat Gothic structure, surrounded by a grave yard; and is surmounted by a belfry at its west end. It was erected in 1843, - and is large enough to afford accommodation to about 140 - the average number of attendants is about 60 - and the average number of communicants is about 50. The Revd. [Reverend] Mr Cook L.L.B. [Bachelor of Laws] (graduate of Cambridge) is the minister; his stipend is raised by pew rents, and offerings from the congregation.
