134.05 | A rocky and wooded eminence on the south face of the Ochil Hills, and rising very abruptly from the northern extremity of the village of Tillicoultry, there is no trace of either Fort or defensive work of any description on the summit of this height as stated in the Statistical Acct. [Account], neither can I obtain any information in the locality that any object of the sort ever existed there, it is generally supposed that such has been the case, but no one remembers seeing a trace of it. Neither can it be pointed out. |
