139.04 | An ancient cairn on the top of and near the western end of Hawk Hill. It is nearly circular and about twelve feet in height. It is composed of small stones and gravel, and, except a few small patches, has a grassy surface. There is no tradition in the neighbourhood respecting it, and, though evidently artificial, it is not certain for what purpose it was raised. |
