022 The remains of a pictish house situated in the middle of a field. Part of this was excavated a few years ago, by Mr Gunn Dale, on whose Farm it is. He discovered a number of skeletons, of animals, such as cats, hares, &c. and also deers horns. One Deers Scull, which he found with great horns, was in such a good state of preservation that he put it up in one of his rooms as an ornament but before it had been any time exposed to the fresh air, it crumbled into dust
