022 This Chapel is said to have stood at the east end of the grave-yard on the brink of the rocks near Dirlot Castle immediatly above the Kettle Pool; there is now nothing of it to be seen, as the stones were taken to build part of the new wall which surrounds the graves, but some of the oldest inhabitants, have seen part of the walls before they were put down. This grave-yard is one of the best kept in the parish, and contains a number of very hansome tombstones, some of Marble, Free-stone &c.
