An isolated portion of rocK about 20 feet high, on the north side of the tram way and about 70 yards East from the end of the BreaK water. At one period it formed part of a small hill which bore the same name, also Known as Hill o' Howe from being separated from the main land feature. It is probable that there had been a cairn on it at one time, hence the name. The larger portion of the hillocK has been used in the formation of the new harbour worKs at present in Course of Construction. It is also called 'Cairn [Dhuna] StacK |
