030 | A flat sKerry projecting from a broKen rocKy point, close beside "Sarclet head" and opposite the "Hole of Troupa". I am of opinion that this name applies more properly to the eminence above the "Hole of Troupa". However, the rocK in question bears the designation by the inhabitants of this neighbourhood at the present time. There is a Communication betwixt the "Hole of Troupa" and the Sea, by means of a large Cave shewn on Trace, thru' [through], which there is a continual flow of Current at full tide. |
