024 This Cairn is said to have stood in a small piece of rough ground, Near the angle of a field S. [South] East, from the farm of Stemster. It was probably removed many years ago for building purposes. but the exact period cannot be ascertained. It must have been of considerable extent, as the foundation still remains, and is overgrown by the heath. so that the portion represented in Trace Cannot be ploughed.
