011 This tower is built on the supposed site of the grave of "Harold" who was Earl of Orkney & Caithness, and who was supposed to have been killed in a battle which he fought on the "Hill of Clardon". It is now used as a Mausoleum for the Sinclair of Ulbster Family. This Tower was erected by the late Sir John Sinclair, of Ulbster. and was called "Harolds Tower".
