021 A nice little Lake, lying among the moors, Some four or five miles South west of Dorrary, and some distance south of Loch Shurrary, it is surrounded with heath with a little green, though rough, pasture about the edge of the Lake it contains one small island, through the centre of which, runs the Parish Boundry thus leaving the north west corner of the lake in the Ph [Parish] of Reay the remainder in that of Thurso detached.
