034 Situated at the extremity of a small bay, opposite clyth shore. Enclosed by a narrow Quay on the North side with a short Pier, about a chain in lemgth, running out at right angles, leaving a narrow entrance betwixt it and the rocK on the opposite side.
It is almost empty of water at low Ebb tide, but forms a very safe haven for the small fleet of Fishing Boats, from the natural feature of the Bay, which has a gradual bend inwards. Propy [Property] of Adam sharp Esq of Rothes & Clyth.
