034 A fishing Village on the Coast of the Moray Frith. The houses are generally well built & laid out in regular form. The principal street has a great width, from North to South and the smaller Streets are very regular. The Village Contains a Branch of the Established Church, Free Church, & Manse, Free Church School. Post Office. Bank. Six Inns. &c. The population is about 850. Two Markets are held here Annually in July & November, for Sheep &c.
