017 All traces of this one, has been removed, and the place where it stood cultivated many years ago, but the Site has been shown to me, by Mr. R. McLeod who has seen the wall, or embankment which encircled it, when it was about three feet high. He says "it was larger than No 1. and as near as he can remember, would measure about Sixty five feet in diameter."

County of Caithness -- Parish of Hallkirk

This has, very probably, been a Pict's house, altho; [although] it was
given to me as a camp. This one has been removed many
years ago, and very few of the present inhabitants, have
seen it. but from R. McLeod's description of it (who believes
it was the same at No 1) and from the fact of the human
remains being found in it, I think there can be no doubt
about it's having been a Picts house. Mr. Gunn Braehour
says he has read many accounts, and heard many
of the battle, but never heard nor saw anything
about a Camp being there, except by the present
Inhabitants of Pullyhour. [initialled] G.R.
