Sinclair's Sithean Pictish House (Remains of) [note]
The tradition as to the origin of this name is
as follows. Viz:- that during the time of the
disturbances in Caithness with the Norwegians,
that this hillock was used as a look-out post,
and that a man Sinclair was appointed to
attend to this duty.
The mound was named after him.
