193.10 An oratory, the ruins of which, are still conspicuous, it is surrounded by a stone wall, which enclose the chapel and burying ground, the latter is occasionally still used for interment.
"On an elevation between the ferry & farm house, are the ruins of the Ancient Chapel and burying-ground of Kilmichael; the walls of the Chapel are still from 2 to 3 feet high, And the burying-ground was occasionally used until lately-" Wilson's Guide to Bute.
