216.02 | This grave is situated about 11 chains SE [South East] of the Monument, on Tomont End The following is an extract from a small book written by Doctor Waddell. "She (The Lady) is said to have been a Barons Daughter and that her lover was killed at the battle of Largs shortly after which she died of a broken heart and was buried opposite the field of strife" The grave is covered by a stone about 6 feet long and is on a brow near Lady's Bay. |
