Wliiam Anderson Bedshiel		 015.15 A large & Sustantial Stone built house, having extensive outbuildings & Hindshouses detached, in the occupation of Mr. John Lithgow, & the property of S. H. W. P. Campbell B[aronet?] Marchmont.
Formerly there were two distinct farm houses & outbuildings at this place - namely Bedshiel & Bedshiel Mains. But they have been joined together & form one large farm as Bedshiel.
